While celebrating the past, the Nike Daybreak Type GS “Hemp” Pearl allows Nike sneakerheads to enjoy the future with a deconstructed and trendier Daybreak design. Sporting a Pearl White, Hemp, and Off-Noir color scheme. The usual plush nylon uppers have been swapped out for a burlap-like construction in light beige. Recycled canvas in a similar shade is applied to the tongue and overlays at the forefoot to continue the organic look. A soft, airy upper is combined with an exaggerated stitching to add a distinctly modern look to early Bowerman prototypes, while suede keeps you connected to retro athletics styling. Nodding to the champion Daybreak, the rubber Waffle sole adds a twist with about 5% Nike Grind, letting you walk between eras. A cream foam midsole that sees Regrind rubber underfoot rounds out the style for a nature-inspired arrangement.
