This iteration of the Wmns Air Jordan 1 Mid is an updated take on Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe with a colorway of grey and Light Bone. Designed by Peter Moore and released in May 2019, the women’s sneaker comes with an upper constructed of full-grain leather and nubuck with its Jumpman, Wings and Nike Swoosh branding similar to that of the 1985 original. Toe box perforations, an encapsulated Air-Sole unit and the outsole’s pivot point tread pattern round out the style.
The AJ1 Mid returns once again in a simple women’s colorway anyone can appreciate, playing off the classic “Cool Grey” make-ups prior in a way both fashionable and refreshing. Off-hued midsole accents, laces, and swooshes break up the neutrals in a vintage-esque fashion, arriving next to the only other lighter accents found by way of the heel flap’s Wings logo and the tongue’s iconic branding. “Light Bone” comprises the rest of the kit with little deviation, mixing up the release calendar with a versatile entry into the rotation.
This offering features a Light Grey leather upper with perforated holes on the toe and exposed stitching throughout. A Light Bone suede Swoosh logo on the sides with matching laces and a Yellow-colored midsole to give off that vintage style completes the design.
